1. Overview

Kus Ledger ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at kusledger.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or use the Site, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect personal information that you actively provide to us through the contact form on the Site. This includes:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Business name
  • Phone number
  • Message — a description of your inquiry
  • Preferred contact date and time

We also automatically collect your IP address at the time of form submission. This is used solely for spam prevention and rate limiting, and is not used for tracking or marketing purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule the requested consultation
  • Communicate with you about our services
  • Prevent spam and abuse of the contact form

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. How We Store Your Information

Contact form submissions are stored in a secure, hosted PostgreSQL database provided by Neon (neon.tech). IP addresses are temporarily processed through Upstash Redis for rate limiting and are not retained beyond what is necessary for that function.

We retain contact form data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of follow-up. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Cookies and Tracking

The Site does not use cookies, analytics tracking pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not use Google Analytics or similar services.

6. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party infrastructure providers to operate the Site, including services for website hosting, database storage, and abuse prevention. Each provider processes only the data necessary for their specific function and operates under their own privacy practices.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Data is shared with infrastructure providers solely to deliver the functionality of this Site, and only to the extent required to do so.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA) to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our booking page. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
